Are there any places that offer fun activities for a 9 month old (either free or paid) ? I couldnt find anything in the fremont community center. Maybe my search criteria was incorrect.
Hopefully the answers posted will also help other new moms as well.

Palo Alto Junior Museum is great. Ikea is also good place for kids to play.
Most community center have class Tumbling Tike or Tuff tumbler or similar. Just in case if not in Fremonte community center could check it in Newark/Milpitas/Union City. Non-res. charge will be slightly more. It’s fun for kids plus good workout for parent.
Little Gym, Gymboree has similar class too.
Most city Libraries have story time which is free. At this stage kids wont get much of the stories told there but they enjoy songs and other activities performed in between the stories.
ICC also used to have a infant class, don’t see anymore though :(. Leena fremont adult education has classes beginning 14 months. These classes are fun both for kids as well as parents. There maybe some mother toddler groups as well.
Milpitas Library has mommy and me class on Friday from 1.30pm to 3.00pm which is free.
ICC also has tue and thur morning but paid class,
Community classes are also good and they offer many classes.
little gym also class for 9 months old.
childrens discovery musem is also good for young kids (san jose down town)
Some malls also have kids activities I dont know @ new park mall but great mall they have one event every month which is fun.
