New India Bazaar had put up pamphlet next to their counters one month back regarding membership card.
It offers on any amount purchase 5% back on cash payment & 3% back on credit card payment with $5 one time membership fee. They never advertised in person about getting this card while at counter. I didn’t see anybody using it.
In one of the social KV talks I heard about other Indian grocery store giving discount for large grocery bill. Lately we have been doing lot more grocery. Hence I asked New India Bazaar if they offer same as well. After some thinking expression they gave me minute discount. Suggested that they would give if I asked for it. It also matters based on who is at the counter.
Something about this card doesn’t seem right & Thought of getting one more store card is keeping me away from it. Those who go to this store, Did you see this offer? Did anybody get this card? Any thoughts?
Haven’t been to New India Bazar lately, however India Cash and Carry gives 5% discount over $50 purchases.
When they started this scheme they had some flyers and asked me if I want and I got this card. Its been more than a month.
