Any interest in some families getting together for a 3-4 day cruise in 2009? Mostly during July 4th long weekend.
Of course the discussions will start later this year. But no harm in getting an interest level and getting some buzz generated around this topic whenever KVites meet. 😉

After looking at Tanvi’s experience we thought why wait any longer 🙂
And besides a smaller cruise will help all prepare for a bigger cruise (to Alaska) in 2010. 😉

As some of you know 3 KV families(Jurmi,LRT and us) have just returned from a 4 day cruise to Mexico….like to share few experiences from the same…
First dont go alone it’s always fun with a bunch of people……as most of the activities especially on Carvnival (thats the only cruise we have done till date) are targeted to please old American Whites.
However we did enjoy bunch of game shows and comedy shows, Salsa Class, Dance Competition. The most amazing was hairy Chest Competition for men( I dont think this needs any further explanation:-))
Loose atleast 10 pounds before you can cruise…because they offer you buffets after long long breaks of 40 mins.
Choose a cruiseroute that allows ou to spend enough time on water. Like few cruise for Hawaii take you to port every day so time on water is very less.
And last but not the least if you are lucky enough you may meet Some Kanti Bhai or Jayanti Bhais family coming right from Gujrat and that will be a good source of entertainment.

Try Masala Cruise so that food, drinks, and activities are in sync with desi taste. They have general food menu on line and activities/concerts are usually advertised in advance.
