Restaurant Recommendations in NY, DC

  1.    Jaiya Thai (Good spicy thai food)
  2.     Mamoun’s Falafel or Taim Falafel (Both are good and have amazing sauce). Both are hole-in-the-wall type of place.
  3.     Hangawi (Very expensive and upscale – if you are in the mood to celebrate). Awesome ambience and Asian food. Reservation recommended.
  4.     Max Brenner Chocolate Factory (Amazing place for dessert)
  5.     Kati Roll (There are a few of them, try the one near Times Square)
  6.     Many good Indian restaurants on Lexington avenue – Try Dhaba
  7.     Vatan Indian in New York
  8.     Dirt Candy for vegan food
  9.     Rice to riches in NYC for dessert
  10. Rabdi Malpua in mithaas New Jersey
  11. Tangra Masala in Queens for Indo Chinese

D.C 

  1. Amsterdam Falafel

    We didn’t try Rasika in D.C (an upscale Indian restaurant ) but heard about it from few local folks and also from folks in D.C..
