What household remedies have worked for you for treating cold and cough ? Also do you have recommendations for good otoscopes / ear check devices for ear infection ? Have they proved effective ?

Wow! I read the old post and there are like 50 different things for treating the same thing. I wonder which one will Leena try :)? BTW….”Cold” is word that is generally interchanged very often to say that someone is affected by cold virus OR that someone has runny nose. From the doctors here, i understand that there is no medicine to get rid of cold virus as such. You have to just wait it out. You can only treat the symptoms like cough and stuffy or runny nose that result. Doctors generally don’t recommend allopathic medicines for that. All of those remedies listed in the old article pretty much try to get rid of the mucus from the chest and head if there is any (if I understand it right) and that helps in faster recovery of cough and/or stuff/runny nose.
