Mango Garden is a new restaurant (not Indian 🙂 but Malaysian) in south bay.
And it seems to be an excellent alternative to Banana Leaf and Layang Layang
Layang Layang .
Super friendly service, delicious food, decent ambience and added benefit of being so close to home.
The menu feels almost same as Banana Leaf, the owner was manager at Banana Leaf for more then 10+ years !!
It is located in the same complex as Ciceros Pizza
Since this has opened recently, currently weekdays also seem very busy here.

Good for South Bay residents…they need not drive unto Milpitas to enjoy yummy food from Banana Leaf!
Good for Milpitas residents also. Now South Bay residents won’t crowd Banana Leaf. And it may be easier to get a table at Banana Leaf. 🙂

I second bhavini, this is a good place. Seems like they are in market research phase. The cook was very interested in what we liked and we were offered starters and deserts on the house. Both of which (roti+mango pudding of some kind) will be a staple going forward. The curry that came with roti was delicious. I asked if they could make a vegetable out of it and they said they could customize anything. They seem willing to experiment. As bhavini mentioned, service was good-hopefully it will stay that way.
As Kalpendu said, on the house items are an added bonus as well. We also liked their Shaved mango Ice cream with mango pieces.
