This place is awesome and great value for money. It is not much advertised but much better than the Sonoma West. It is a long weekend trip since it takes 8 hrs to reach there. You can plan on going to Mt. Shasta or Crescent city on the way back. The animals are in the wild and you can drive your car and view them really close. There are lots of fun things apart from the safari trip. Tug of war with lions, feeding the bears,Elephant Car wash, camel rides etc. Check their website . It is a great experience for all. Don’t be surprised if the giraffe leans in your car or the Emu pecks you.

Thanks for this post Madhavi. This seems to be very interesting.
Can you please provide some more information on where you stayed, how well equipped is the surrounding area for food, did you consider flying as an option since the drive is long.
Good to see an article from you Madhavi. This means your login problems are all resolved. 🙂
Sneha,
I had looked up in to flyIng option. However you have to fly to Portland and drive 3/4 hours from there. That would mean that total amt of hours would be the same. Instead driving and taking break was better. We went with 2 other families and stopped at Redding( exactly 4 hrs from here) . We took a 3 hr break , saw the sundial bridge and Turtle bay exploratarium . Then we drove the rest 4 hours. It was the same way while returning with a break at Mt. Shasta.
Cool, Looks very similar to the Lion Safari in Toronto, but so close. Thanks for sharing this wonderful piece of information Madhavi.
We went last weekend to this safari park. It was pretty good.
Oregon is very pretty. We did lots of things … hiking, boating, wild-life safari, beach, caves etc. Overall pretty good trip. While coming back we stayed one night @ Mt. Shashta.
