Handy Manny

Everyone will have a need eventually for some handyman for their home. I personally have not employed any till now but am close to hiring one for some work in my house. I narrowed down my choices to the following based on recommendations. Hopefully they can be of use to some. I will post my experience with the guy that I hire.

I am also putting down the recommendation text that I got.

1) Avila’s Handyman Service

We use him for everything…he’s awesome! If you call, let him know that Star referred you.

He is licensed. Always reliable and does a great job!

2) David Lei 408-887-8241

This person David does all handyman works at my place. He is reasonably priced and good workman ship

3) Wayne Evans 408-221-1895

Wayne does fantastic work with things like decks & arbors (his
specialty!), general home repairs (termite/dry-rot/painting), door and
window replacement, tile work, sealing, and various other small- to
mid-size jobs around the house.

He’s VERY dependable, honest, and helpful, and his rates are very
reasonable. He is not, however, a licensed contractor, so Wayne may not
be your man for MAJOR projects. But for day-to-day, “honey-do”-type
stuff, he’s a great guy for the job.
