We’ve been talking about taking a turn for pathshala cooking like we did last year. Are KV folks enthusiastic to volunteer their time for pathshala cooking this year ? The Kutchvalley Master Chef 2011 contestants can do the menu selection for this event. And the Kutchvalley Masterchef 2011 finalists will lead the menu selection team and come up with a kids and adult friendly menu. I was also thinking if we want to sponsor and volunteer both. This won’t be limited to pathshala going families only and all KVites are welcome to volunteer and help with sponsoring this event. Hasmukh bhai can let us know which days are open for cooking and we can pick from one of those.

1st week of April if that works for every one and if not then let’s finalize the date ASAP were most of KV family can came and make this event successful. So we can Reserve the date.
For sponsorship either we can sponsor whole menu which range between from $400.00 to $600.00 or donate $150.00.
About Menu, KV is unique group in Bay Area, so our menu will be unique too 🙂

Thank you all for the enthusiasm and support. Since majority can make it on April 3rd and not many weekends left for the shala year to end, we will lock this date for KV’s cooking day at pathshala.
The SEF holi program has moved to that day too.
Actually it will work out fine. In the morning KV devotes their time to pathshala cooking. Post cooking at around noon time or 12.30 pm KV goes to play Holi. This takes care of food for some people since they can eat at the pathshala. 🙂
One person with a Van can bring all the pathshala kids to the Holi place. I volunteer to drive Nitul’s Van if available to bring the kids to the Holi place.
