I would like to thank

I would like to thank the Academy for giving us this big Oscar. We have a lot of people to thank but we are so excited about this unexpected windfall that we are dumbfounded. Now what did we exactly do to earn this??? Dimple did a few dances, Prashant too. Kairavi made her debut. There were some dramas of course. But we never expected the Academy to get wind of our performances and award us this Oscar.

We had fun at the Oscars of course. We were a bit underdressed in our jeans and jackets. But that did not stop us from being overawed by our surroundings and staring at all celebrities with our mouths wide open. The show was good. We loved the shadow dancers behind the stage and Al Gore proved he had a good sense of humor along with a good sense of the global warming problem. Seinfeld’s standup act was good and Jack Nickolson got rid of his remaining hair. The Oscars went green with this edition. The Departed actually “Arrived” with all engines firing. Scorsese finally got what he was looking for. Playing historical figures looked like the “in-thing” and that earned Helen and Forest their own treasures.

And now back to the long thank you list. We would like to start by thanking the Academy for renting us the U-haul so that we can lug this giant all the way back to the Silicon Valley……
