Am doing a experiment by putting Ads from Google on the website in an effort to monetize kutchvalley.com. Not sure how much revenue that will bring (since we dont have lot of traffic) but whatever we get will be pumped back into kutchvalley.
So if you find some ads interesting and which are about some of the things that you are interested in then be sure to visit those sites via the link provided in the Ad.
I am still experimenting with this concept and hence the Ads may not be very targetted yet. But hopefully in 1-2 weeks and tweaking here and there, I will figure out the best way to produce ads which are relevant to this group of people.
I will also try out “Ads by Yahoo” soon although of course both cannot appear at same time due to Terms and Services policies of each provider.
You can see the ads at bottom of page above the Recent Comments Section. Placement may change from time to time. Let me know if you see Offensive ads.
update: 8.17$. its been 2 weeks since we put out ads on our site. And we have been credited $8.17 in our account till now. We dont get paid till we reach 100$. So could be end of the year before we realize the money in hard cash.
$21.50 in 4 weeks that have passed. Now the ads are kind of relevant too.
5 weeks –> 33.62$
