Want more Legroom in a plane. Try Eva Air.

Travelling in an airplane seat for 12 hours straight is no joke. It feels just weird to be thinking about sitting stable in one position for that long. (Of course even after getting up for walks, etc). And of course on top of that we vegeterians get our meal plates pretty early. Which means we have to sit with the tray of empty plate for a longer time than the rest of the folks. Aaargh…..

If there was one area of instant improvement in planes i would say more legroom and instant clearing away of empty plates. In fact whenever I have to sleep in a slightly constrained place on LAND I just mentally think of the plane seat and then basically anything else which gives me even room to stretch becomes more welcome than the plane seat. 🙂

Now I have not travelled in Eva Air personally. But got this info from Sanjay Gala #1 who recently travelled by Eva Air.

Seems like Eva Air has recently started a route to Mumbai. Eva Air offers in addition to the usual Economy class, an intermediate class called “Economy Deluxe”. This class of seats has got more leg room (6 inches more) and are more wider too.

So if your parents or someone need more legroom and comfort while travelling to India, you can consider Eva Air’s Economy Deluxe. Check out www.evaair.com.

While prices wont be as cheap as the Economy class, they wont be as outrageous as the Business Class also. For more info, you can ping Sanjay 😉

  1. United also has “Economy plus” which u can buy or typically get if u are a frequent flyer and those seats are empty. British Airways also has a similar world traveller plus (I think) and normal prices were 1.5 times economy class.
