Many of us have got into this routine of listening to radio, music while driving. Especially in the morning, that’s the source of news, traffic update for some of us who don’t get chance to glance at newspaper or listen to TV news.
KGO 810 is my typical commute time station. It covers daily news, weather, traffic & sports. They have talk shows off-peak hours, which usually doesn’t interest me much.
KGO & lunchtime glance through My Yahoo is my main source for current affairs.
Which is your preferred commute time radio station?
My commute has reduced, so don’t get to hear the radio that much. I tune to 1590 KLIV, cover’s local & CNN news, weather report, traffic, local stock’s of interest, phil cosentino’s produce update. Also I like the news from the bottom of the big pile of news – those make me laugh as they tell ppl doing some funny things.
I listen to KGO 810. It has talk shows and some topics are interesting. Gives one a broader view of any issue.
KCBS – 740 AM – Listening to it for last 10 years 🙂
No talk shows …Traffic/Weather news every 10 minutes..
I was tuning in to FM 95.7, FM 89.3 and FM 101.3 during the days when I had long commute. When in Texas, tuned to MusicMasala radio on every Sat. These days, my radio is turned off.
When i was in San Jose i used to tune to AM 1200 its a 24 hour Hindi(Punjabi) channel. The reception for this channel is not that good though
In LA i tune to 94.7 (The WAVE). Its totally instrumental(Saxophone) music and gr8 to listen.
