Hindi movies are a favorite weekend activity for many of us. Now with so many movies around and on top of that so many bad movies being produced, you dont want to waste 3 hours of your valuable time on some bad movie.
Not sure what is your way to select which movie to see today. I hope you dont just goto the video store and ask the owner “Aaj kaunsi nayi movie aayi hai”. “Aachhi hai kya”.
One good way is of course word of mouth publicity. You ask your friends their opinion and then decide. However Now a days many sites also offer online user reviews for Hindi movies.
One good site that i found was mouthshut.com. It is fast and has a reasonably clean User Interface. Sulekha.com is another site offering such reviews but that site was horribly slow with a bad UI. It has improved recently but nothing compared to mouthshut.com. http://www.planetbollywood.com is another good resource.
No matter how much you try to filter movies to catch the best ones, a bad one creeps in once in a while. For english movies I use http://movies.yahoo.com of course. 🙂
