California Pizza Kitchen

Finally we visited CPK (California Pizza Kitchen) in Valley Fair Mall. I knew that we had some comments about CPK in KV but could not find them in time to see what was recommended :-). I need to fix the “Search” functionality in KV.

Anyway creating this post and copying over some of the comments from the earlier thread so that all CPK goodies are documented in one place. 🙂

We tried the Mango Pizza (upon recommendation by Rohit) but you need to ask it to be made vegetarian since it is originally Mango Tandoori Chicken.

We tried the Pear and Gorgonzola Pizza too.

Both Pizzas were yummy. The crust was real thin and that was nice. I would rate the Pear and Gorgonzola Pizza higher than the Mango Pizza.

One pizza contains 6 slices and serves about 1.5 people.

In the appetizer we tried the “Herb-Onion Focaccia with Checca”. I liked that one too although Dimple/Komal just found it ok.

The bread that they serve initially was yummy too. We liked CPK and will definitely visit again.

Here are the comments from previous thread.

Sneha: “CPK has great starters and pizzas-its 5 cheese tomato basil, eggplant are few of our favorites…..The one in Palo Alto is a cool location”

Deep: “ry their honey wheat crust – its awesome!”

Rohit: “CPK is still my favorite”

Amisha: “we also liked it’s pizzas. Haven’t been to CPK in bay area though.”

2 Comments:

  1. The MEDITERRANEAN Tortilla Rolls and the BBQ chopped salad without meat is also fantastic, very hearty.
Pizza Antica on Santana Row is our favorite

  2. Their Dakota pea soup is good. Good place to pick up food from the airports while traveling.
