Rasa Indian received a Michelin star last year and was noted as one of the best places to dine in bay area recently
We had visited this place during Dec last year. It’s a small place, but two floors for seating.
Decent ambiance, excellent service and much better south Indian food than the local bay area joints.
One will have to find street parking to dine here.
They do have curry and paratha’s too but we only tried South Indian varieties. Good variety of mocktails.
Appetizers – Crisp Idli Chaat and cauliflower appetizer, both were good.
Unique varieties of dosa’s – truffle, basil dosa etc. They currently have dosa with fennel and spinach, that looks appetizing 🙂
Loved their uttapams – one of the best I’ve eaten in bay area.
Perfectly crisp and full of flavors.
Thanks Bhavini for the Reco. Always good to have KV Recos to go and try out places to eat.
+1 – for crispy idli chat.
Spice lovers should try their Bollywood dosa with ghost peppers. Beware, It’s just toooo hot.
Thanks Bhavini.
This will be perfect treat for my South Indian food lover family visiting from East Coast.
Thanks Bhavini for the reco! We tried it this week based on your post and would definitely recommend! We tried their spinach and fennel dosa and really liked it. Their cardamom creme brulee dessert was good too!
