It seems to be a misconception that vegetarians don’t have much options when it comes to BBQ.
But am sure that we have quite a few folks who BBQ here and have interesting combinations to share.
What are your favorite vegetables and fruits that you BBQ ?
What different kind of marinades/sauces do you make?
Hope that you all share your secrets and tips and let everyone experience the magic of BBQ.
For BBQ we have usually done corn, vegetables we marinate with curd and BBQ tikka masala, (vegetables used mostly green bell peppers, onion, cauliflower, mushroom, & Paneer, ( have tried using zuccini but it leaves lot of water,) Have also BBQ Papad, potato.
other tip usually when we have to BBQ outside the grills are not so clean so for vegetable we use kabab grilling rack . easy to use , foldable and portable. BBQ is my favorite part of the summer…..
So miss having my own grill…
Try fruits next time…..
Marinade
Orange juice, brown sugar, rum/vodka (2 tablespoon) mix all together.
Marinade fruits like pineapple(tastes awesome), peaches, pears, strawberries……grill them and serve them warm on cool vanilla ice cream
Try green marinade this time with hung curds and green paste made from finely chop/puree cilantro, mint, green chillies, ginger and garlic and some chat masala
Add some falafel balls to your veggie skewers
