Point Lobos – Point Lobos State natural Reserve is just south of carmel-by-the-sea. It contains numerous hiking trails with good scenic views, many with ocean views. We parked inside for $5(it includes the trail map). Parking inside gave us the flexibilty to drive from one end of the park to another(helpful if you want to hike select trails only, which we did).
Some of the trails which we did were cypress grove, granite point, north shore, whalers cove and cabin, sand hill, sea lion point. Trails were easy to medium in difficulty.

Love Point Lobos! Its on our list of go-to places now with out of town visitors.
There is a small hike (like 0.2 miles) @ point lobos which takes u to a beach. I heard they are repairing the stairs right now. A worth visit.
Pt Lobos trails are among our favorites too. The ocean views while on the trail r lovely..
