I first went with a friend after positive yelp reviews for Indo-chinese cuisine, followed by the whole family. This is a recent opening. It is a tiny hole-in-the wall kind of a place, with unpretentious decor and simple and friendly service. A bit tricky to find, it is located in the strip mall on the south east corner of intersection of sylvan and El-camino. (Make sure to enter mountain view in GPS, else you land up in Sunnyvale).
I find that typical Indo-chinese restaurants go heavy on green chilies for the ‘Indian’ part, making the most dishes too pungent. The food here is different- the Indian part did have a better balance of Indian spices and tastes. Try Momos and the burrito, ask it to be spicy. Fried rice is typical, and Gobi-Manchurian was good-better then the rest. Decently priced, this is definitely a keeper.
