Adlabs Imagica
India’s first entertainment theme park Adlabs Imagica opened today in Khopoli near the Mumbai Pune Expressway. It is almost equidistant from Mumbai and Pune. So should get folks from both cities. Its theme is Bollywood. So you have rides like Mr. India, etc.
Tickets are about 1200 Rs on weekdays, 1500 Rs on weekends and 2000 Rs for fastpass. They plan to add more rides. They also plan to open a water park by year end and a hotel to stay in by next year. Its being touted as India’s Disneyland. We will have to wait for reviews to see whether it really matches to the hype.

Looks like there website is down. Got an error saying “Error connecting to mysql” 🙂
Hope their rides are more error proof than their website. :-). When we visited Esselworld recently some of the rides were a bit shaky with rattling sounds and sudden slowdowns which could cause body aches.
