TIP Of the Week: How to deseed a pomegranate without much mess

Tried this tip yesterday and found it useful.
1. Cut the pomegranate in half as normal.
2. Make 4 small splits on each half.
3. With a bowl to collect the seeds, now start whacking the back of the pomegranate with a wooden spoon or rolling pin. All the seeds will start falling into the bowl. Within few seconds the pomegranate is ready to be enjoyed.

    This is awesome. I love pomegranates but don’t buy it bcoz it takes long to deseed. Will surely try it out.
