With your smartphone, what feature do you use the most ? (Ofcourse beside’s the basic functionality i.e. talking :-) )

Talking is the least of the functionality that I use. More than talking I use it for browsing the most (reading news, fb, stocks, etc). I also make extensive use of the video recording functionality since its very easy to instantly upload videos to youtube. Kids use it as an entertainment device. I use the GPS to find my way around in India. The smartphone is my best electronic friend. Only functionality missing is the “wallet”. But that should also be possible within next 2 years.
Apart from what Prashant mentioned, I use it for games :), IMing (Whatsapp, gtalk etc), email , keeping track of social networks (Facebook, Twitter etc) 🙂
True talking consists of less than 10% of primary functionality of the phone.
Calender, Notepad, BOM/Pune Rickshaw meter, Flashlight, folk tales
My primary use is email, calendar, stocks (wish they come out with App for options too 😉 ), Whatsapp, Facetime, Games, FB
2 other uses for smartphone that i have used on occasion:
1) as a substitute for Xeroxing (photocopying) a document. Instead of photocopying a document, I take a snapshot with my phone and send the scanned image to the person.
2) As a mirror. In case there is no mirror near you, turn on the camera and flip the view to yourself. 🙂
Google maps can be downloaded on smartphones – we used this feature extensively during the recent London stopover.
@Prashant – DocScan is the app for scanning the document into PDF on iphone. Check it out.
@Bhavesh, Did not know that. thanks for the info.
