I am looking for apartments near north san jose, santa clara.
So far I checked North Park, Elan at River oaks and Mansion Grove apartments
Lots of Desi crowd is present at all of the 3 communities ..
Hence I was wondering if anyone from KV who lives or lived here and can share the experience or review.
Also, let me know about other communities in nearby area.

There was a website called apartment ratings or something where you could find reviews on apartments.
I have a friend who stayed at Mansion Grove and Elan both. And he was reasonably happy with it. I will email him and cc you.

I read reviews on the apartment ratings website .. but I found that those are not most recent and sometimes people just exaggerate the issues there 😛 .. or for fun 🙂
For sure .. some things mentioned there seems true but nothing like hearing from friend 😀

I think Jaikit Savla lives in Mansion Grove, check with him.
We stayed at Bella Vista (close to Mansion Grove) and really liked the complex and apts. There is Archstone across from Bella Vista as well which you can consider.
Little late on reply but I hope below comments are helpful for someone else –
I have been stating in Mansion Grove now for @2+ years and pros and cons are
Pros:
1. Good managements
2. Good service and facilities (2 swimming pool, 2 tennis court, 1 basket ball court, gym, theatre room)
3. Awesome trail along side Guadalupe River and there are some apartments facing trail.
4. Rivermark Plaza and Light rail is at walking distance
5. There are couple of parks at walking distance – good for kids and also for parents to stroll
Cons:
1. Parking is not gated – and there are no cameras. There have been incidents where windows were broken and car were stolen.
2. School at walking distance is not allowed for Mansion Grove
