We all need different house hold products from time to time. And most of us know about the carpet stain remover and shout for cloth stains. But there are lot of products in the market which may be useful for all of us. I am just listing few to get the post started, these products may not be new for folks, but the idea is to use this post to share different household cleanliness products :).
1. Shout Color Catcher is a life saver, well cloth saver, especially when you are washing those Indian clothes that are bound to leak color !!!!. I use 1/3rd of it in the wash cycle when I mix and match whites with colored clothes. And no color leakage for sure. Ofcourse there have been few incidences where I forgot to add shout and the color leaked, no major loss though …

2. The hard wood floor cleaning mop, with a mist, does wonders in a short time.
Some of you may be using a steam mop, but if steam is not the right product for your floor then this will be useful. For $20, definitely a must have gadget I feel. There are lot of other brands in the market – e.g Bona hardwood floor care system. The microfiber pads in Promist are washable and initial pack comes with 2 pads. Available at Smart and Final.

Baking Soda- Used a fabric softner (to avoid allergies from strong chemicals), cleaning agent for toilets,carpets and of course food.
Vinegar- Used as fabric softner too.
I want to share something I did not like. I bought Oxy clean for laundry. I felt that it faded colors of the clothes probably because of its boosting power. Not sure if anyone else had a similar experience.
I used Grab-it for dusting. Typical household towels will move dust from one end to another and down. Grab-it collects it right there.
Resolve for carpet stains, spray starch while ironing cottons from India!
