  1. If you are not contestant or co-ordinator or judge, you can be guest at this parties. Again you can indicate if you plan to attend as guest at one of this parties.

  2. Mona and Purvesh, this definitely sounds exciting. We would be glad to host one of the rounds, still thinking about contesting or judging :).

  3. Sounds interesting. We can host one of the session at our place. May be interested in being a floating judge.

  4. Very interesting, well thought contest. I would like to join as audience.

  5. Intresting. I can join as a contestant as well as host one of the session.

  6. Sounds like a great idea. I am thinking about being one of the contestants.
    Need just a few clarifications.

All rounds (Saturdays): Q1) Timing of the contest?

Final round: Q1) Siganture dish should it be one item or can be more?

Q2) Can the prep work be done at home eg if making a samosa can it be all prepared at home and brought only to be fried at the host home?

Q3) 15 minutes for clean-up …. Seriously can ur family/audience help with that and can family be in the audience?

Q4) Would the meal be prepared just for the judges or the audience too and what if there is 10+audience do we still have to finish in 60 minutes?

  7. Sounds exciting…I would like to be a contestant.

  8. Would like to join as an audience

  9. Hi Vaishali,

1] Timing to be decided, will be evenings mostly.
    2] Signature dish upto participant
3] Participant to clean, if needed we can increase the time.
4] Just for judges … again judges are expected only to taste the dishes hence no need for quite a lot.. In final there will be many judges, still they are expected to just taste the dish – no full meal for any judges.

  11. HI Vaishali,

The clean up is being kept since in the finals there will be 2 contestants and after 1 contestant is done the other has to start cooking .

Also since it is the signature dish it has to be cooked in front of everybody since for all the other rounds all the contestant will be cooking from there home.

Also i will be providing the only basic appliances and utensils rest all the ingredients the participant have to bring for themselves depending upon there signature dish.

    Thanks,

    Mona
