Nirvanaah Icecream

For all the ice cream lovers – a new ice cream shop has opened in Sunnyvale, Nirvanaah bright and colorful, in the same complex as India Cash and Carry.

I stopped by to take a peek. Lots of desi flavors, fruit based flavors etc. Sitafal, Pineapple orange, Pineapple, Mango Kulfi, Walnut fig, Meetha Pan (has good pan flavor) etc. They also offer milk shakes, sundaes etc. All ice creams are vegetarian, eggless. The fruit flavored have fresh fruit. They also make birthday cakes, 2 layers of ice cream only, no cake like other ice cream cake suppliers. Lots of decoration options to choose from + photo cakes available as well.
500 ml TOGO containers for $5.99 – $6.99, depending upon the flavor you choose.

  1. Wow. That is definitely awesome news.

Meetha Pan ice cream? Wow what is this world coming to? 🙂

  2. Just a Peek.. no scoop or TOGO??

  3. We tried it…………………..and was about to post on KV.
They have the cassatta…reminds me of good old early ninties in India. The base of cassatta is a cake and has eggs though.

We also had their alphonso mango and sampled lots of other flavors.

I personally liked their orange-pineapple and coconut ice cream.

One thing I found was there is some strong essence which gets on to you after having few bites.

So if I had to rate Mitchels (SF) and this one I would rate Mitchels couple notches higher.

    But definately worth a try!

  4. Yup – Meetha pan Prashant (this was the first one i wanted to try and the server said try it last otherwise you won’t get the taste of other ice creams, i liked their pineapple orange and sitafal as well. Ended up taking a TOGO of meetha pan, Dimple. So “chief” and family, you can stop by if you want to eat Paan on your birthday 🙂

  5. Sunday after practice.. instead of Rangoli.. stop over at Nirvanaah this time 🙂
Prashant, we have had Meetha pan ice cream from Prabhu Ice cream in Mulund.

  6. Rick’s ice cream in Palo Alto has amazing unique flavors like Lemon Lavender,(hands down the best flavor we’ve ever had), they also have a very interesting kulfi and kesar pista. The rose is much better than india store, very mild and not too much essence, white chocolate ginger is also interesting.

  7. we liked Ghiradelli over to Ricks haven’t tried the Nirvanna yet.
Ricks ice creams are not as richer as the famous Ghiradelli. I did not try there fudge it seems they are eggless.

  8. the previous comment is by me
