1. Chopped (kachumber style) Avocado + Cucumber + Tomatoes + Spring Onion(or onion) drizzled with lemon – (salt is optional)

Per researcher, especially women needs eat one avocado per week.

Avacados are now available in Mumbai but the quality is not as good.
We add avacodos to all salads we make(bean salad, moong dal salad,etc)
Protein Rich Gaucomale by mixing tofu in it is also delicious. This can be used as a spread on sandwiches instead of chutney as it is very creamy.
Avacado soup for summer is just amazing.

We have also had avaocado choclate. I have tried it home too. But nothing to talk about.
Some of you tasted the Avacado ice cream at our place during the brainstorming. :-). Although it tastes more like pista ice cream.
Avacado in any way is yummy. It has a really nice nutty taste. Though its high in calories it has other good benefits too.
Once we made Avacado pickles just in 5 min.
– Cut Avacado
– Add Pickle Mix Masala
– Add salt for taste.
– Add Olive Oil
and you are done. Try it’s instant.
This time we are planning to make Avacado milkshake once in Shala snack.

For guacamole – mashed avacodao, roasted garlic oil, cilantro, lemon juice, salt , pepper , spring onion and chilli..
Exercise is also a good source of HDL.
We take inspiration from the great Indian sev puri – except that it has neither.
Trader joes crackers that do not have even 0.1% polyunsaturated fat. Put avocado and other veggies and chutney to taste and eat it.
Avacado does increase HDL but it all depends on other combination as well. For Sanjeev since he has high triglycerids along with low HDL, we were told to avoid Avacado’s in his diet.
Filipino Avocado Milkshake
Ingredients
1 avocado – peeled, pitted, and cubed
5 cubes ice
3 tablespoons white sugar
1 1/3 cups milk
1 teaspoon fresh lemon or lime juice
1 scoop vanilla ice cream
Directions
Place avocado, ice, sugar, milk, lemon juice, and ice cream into a blender. Puree until smooth.

I learnt to make a healthier version of it from my filipino frineds here, with 2% milk instead of whole milk and use of honey instead of sugar. A very yumm and filling drink for quick breakfast or evening snack craving

Any one try to mix Avacado in Pav Bhaji yet? Raw Avacado has that nice buttery taste for me which may go well with PB. Stay tuned. I may try it this weekend.

I make avocado parathas. The recipe is similar to aloo paratha. just replace potatoes with avacados. Tastes yum.
