We stayed in the Montecito Lodge when we went to Sequoia National Park and absolutely loved it. This lodge has so many activities that one can spend the whole day just here itself.
It has paddle boats, kayaks, a beautiful lake, trampoline, tennis courts, play structure for kids, campfire center, basketball, sandtoys for kids, foosball tables, board games, indoor toys for kids, books for kids and much more. The scenery while boating is just amazing. I cannot describe it in words.
The rooms dont have a television as such but you can watch TV in the common room downstairs. you can play board games, read books or just chat. Dinner and breakfast is included in the price. Plus you can get drinks all day long from the cafeteria.
Price wise it is a bit expensive (225+ per night) but its definitely lot of fun to stay here considering all the other activities are free. Our room could accomodate 4 adults and 2 kids easily.
I am definitely looking forward to going there again someday.
