  20. Hasmukh bhai,
What a creative menu list ! I think you can decide the menu based on what is being cooked the previous weekend before our turn.

  21. We are discussing the menu for coming Shala and then I will let every one know what we are going to cook.

Quick question any one or group want to sponsor Shala lunch for Mar-7?

  22. Sorry for late menu.
here is the menu for Sunday Shala, please speak up if you want to change menu. I am going to do all shopping by Thursday & Friday.

    PANEER PASTA
    ============
    1) Whole Wheat Penn Pasta (Don’t worry you and children will not feel that it’s wheat pasta. Already you eat once 🙂 )
    2) Yellow Squash
    3) Green thin but firm Zuchini
    4) Red Bell Pepper
    5) Paneer
    6) Tomato
    7) Cheese
    8) Olive oil
    9) Dried herbs, such as parsley, oregano, rosemary or basil, Black peppers, Red Chili Flakes

    BISCUIT PIZZA
    =============
    Yellow Bell Peppers
    Green Bell Peppers
    Tomato
    Olive
    Cheese
    Jain Pizza sauce
    Whole grain biscuits

BANANA SMOOTHI or any other idea for drinks
    ===========================================
    Bananna
    Milk
(if we are doing BANANA SMOOTHI, then we need 3 to 4 mixer, so we can finish this fast)

    Here is the action plan
We will be at temple by 8:30 or so. Kavita & I will cut all veg and make ready to cook.

Easy way for making Pizza (my idea, you can give your idea too, for making easy & faster)
    1) Put chopped or cut veg (Bell Peppers, Tomato) in oven along with Olive for a while till it get little cooked to eat.
    2) Put Pizza sauce on biscuits
    3) Put Veg on top of that
    4) Put Cheese
    5) Put Biscuit Pizza in microwave or oven for 10 seconds or so and let get cheese melt. (We can make biscuits pizza ready and then we can put in Oven, but biscuits already crispy and if we put for more time then might be it will burn.

By 10:45 we have to finish the cooking and get 150 or 200 plate ready to go. And yes you will see other volunteers too.

  23. So Hasmukh bhai, I assume cooking is for this Sunday Mar 7th.

Shall we collect a list of all volunteers from KV who will be showing up?

  24. Yes this is for Mar 7th.

That is good idea Prashantbahi. If name listed and doesn’t show up then they will again cook in next shala 🙂

It will be good if all volunteers show up between 9:15 to 9:30.

  25. I created an event for cooking.

    http://www.kutchvalley.com/events.php?id=1152

All those who will be there at 9.15 to help out, please indicate attendance on above page.

  26. Hasmukh bhai, Menu looks very interesting.
So we will cook two main dish – PANEER PASTA & BISCUIT PIZZA
or we need to choose from two?

  27. We are going to cook every thing.
Dad will make BANANA SMOOTHI. I am looking for couple of topping on smoothi. (Just make sure that we need 3 to 4 mixer, Sorry for keep on writing this, otherwise we will end with making smoothi till end)

  28. Instead of having just banana smoothie can we combine other fruits to it.

  29. Do we have to get the blender from home or the temple has enough blenders?

  30. yes we can do with other fruits too. Please let me know which fruits you want.
Temple have blenders but just one. so more then one blenders can help us to make it fast.

  31. Salad tossed in Mayo?May o contains egg yolk.

Here is something i found about mayo.

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
    Jump to: navigation, search
For other uses, see Mayonnaise (disambiguation).
Standard ingredients and tools to make mayonnaise.

Mayonnaise (sometimes abbreviated to mayo) is a stable emulsion of oil, and vinegar or lemon juice, with many options for embellishment with other herbs and spices. Egg yolk is the traditional emulsifier. It is often cream in color, and may be anything in texture from that of light running cream to thick. In countries influenced by France, mustard is also a common ingredient[1], whereas in Spain it is made using the same ingredients, but specifically olive oil as the oil, and never with mustard. Numerous other sauces can be created from it with addition of various herbs, spices, and finely chopped pickles. Where mustard is used it is also an emulsifier[2][3].
