Heard this ad on the 1170 AM Morning Masti program today. Now you can invest in Pune real estate from the Bay Area itself.

Kolte Patil developers have teamed up with Intero Tri City to bring some Pune real estate oppurtunities to the Bay Area.

Their promo line is “A safe secure way to get your dream property in Pune without ever leaving the US”.

I thought this might be mildly interesting to a few folks.

  1. Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad etc. – there are 100s of people who have raked in the riches by buy properties really outside the town and then those areas becoming prime properties due to immigrant white collared workers.

    Reality: those 100s have become rich because they, in turn, have attracted 1000s others who have not yet made money. There are a lot of builders who had started a very big projects banking on the cash flow that came through advanced bookings. If they dont get all that advance booking – the banks may lend on very aggressive terms. I would advise buying property where people are staying and not with other property investors. If we are doing that, it will be risky to sit in US and do it.

  2. I agree with Tarun. Prefer to buy in a project which has more residents and less investors.

  3. Panjo kutch is also good place for investment. Be it for financial purpose or more importantly for connecting back to our roots for us and our future generations. Sindhis have literally prospered in gandhidham and have helped it Grow significantly.Gandhidham and bhoj(bhuj) are two cities with good potential to have a property which can be purposeful for a visit and as an investment as well, not to mention the benefit to the local economy due to the investment. The cost per sqft would be less than a third or fourth of Pune sqft cost for example.Apologize for going out of the way from the Pune topic.
