Recommendations for body shop?

I am looking for a body shop to have a small dent on my car fixed. Any recommendations?

    Depending on whether you are paying from pocket or insurance the answer varies 🙂

    Assuming this is not going through insurance, there is Auto Collision Center (right at intersection of Arques and Fair Oaks) that has done good work to a fellow-KV’s bumper! I had gone to drop and pickup the car with him. He also keeps sending a $75 off coupon every 2 months in mail. If you decide to go there ping me in case I have received one recently.

    M&M Collision on Minnis Circle (Milpitas) is a good one. If you offer cash then he will not charge tax and also reduce the price. I got it done from him a few years back after researching at that time.

    Manish, since you are paying from your own pocket get estimates from couple of people.

    I had work done at Active Auto Body in Sunnyvale and was quite happy with their service. It was an old car which had a dent and broken headlight. Complete dent repair including repainting would have costed 700-800$. Since, it was an old car and I was paying from my pocket they suggested that they can fix only the headlight and it costed me around $100. They did sort of smoothed out the dent while fixing the headlight and didn’t charge for it.

    There is one that I had used about an year ago International Auto body shop by Lincoln and El Camino in Santa Clara. He also gave me different quotes for insurance vs my pocket vs cash.

    I have got to fix some of the minor things for car like some flap near the door has come out , the bonnet on the trunk one side is broken. any recommendations…
