This family business was started by his father & uncle 61 years ago ….

From a “Paan ki Rekdi” to A/c  shop has been a long journey.

Trays & trays of basic meetha paan are arranged daily & refrigerated.

Later at the time of order toppings as per your choice are added served.

  1. Great post Hemang. Your posts are always fun to read. The pan shop definitely looks inviting. The photos make this a really good post.

  2. Your Comment: for an infrequent visitor, Kutch is a new place on every visit. Condition is that you should remember things of your last visit though. I tried to find my fav Khavda Soanpapdi and I knew for sure that they have a branch in bhuj now. When I took an auto and went there – the whole lane was full of shops that called themselves Khavda and no one would let you sample it! I brought something but turned out to be a fake.

  3. Wow, awesome post 🙂 … I’ve had a chocolate pan from here long ago!

  4. Awesome. This calls for am immediate visit but alas cant till Nannu does not start her holidays.

  5. I think there is a place near Mithibai, Mumbai which is famous for Pans as well. Rasraj or something. I forget the exact name.
