Jaideep – did u try? What is ur review?
Note – Ad says 100% vegetarian..
Do I read “sholay” pizza? … sounds interesting. I would definitely be interested in trying and to hear reviews
I was about to write sholay pizza too. sounds interesting!
I guess the ad also mentions hero pizza which is not vegetarian. So is this place 100% veg or not?
This is their website: http://tastyindianpizza.com/
From what I gather from their website is that their ‘Vegetarian Pizzas’ are 100% Vegetarian 🙂
Tried Tasty Indian Pizza’s yesterday, and I must say their Saag Pizza was AMAZING! we ordered 2 large pizzas and my kids loved it as did my wife. The pizzas were named after movies so the Saag pizza was Saagar if I remember correctly. Definately a great place especially since its close to my work.
Tasty Indian pizza is simply the best. I tried it for the first time last week and have been back almost every day. I have tried most of the veggie pizzas, they are all great but the Betaab is out of this world!!! This is REAL DESI PIZZA!! To top it off, the customer service is great, all the guys working there are very friendly. My family is a huge fan!!!
SO this past Saturday, 3 kutchi families (including us) tried the Indian Tasty Pizza after the Great America Outing.
We tried the “Saagar (Saag pizza)” and “Pukar (Paneer pizza)”. The Saag pizza was really good and yummy. The Pukar was decent as well but not as great as the paneer pizza from Kids Castle.
The owner told us that if we liked “Saag pizza” then we should try “Sholay (Garbanzo beans pizza)” next time.
One large pizza serves about 3 adults and 1 child.
fter reading these reviews I went there to try their pizza. The Saag pizza was totally Awesome. Tasty Pizza is great. The employees are very freindly and their SAAG pizza. I do not hav ethe words to describe how good it was. They are open late till midnight on weekends. So our group wen there and hung out in the patio and enjoyed their food. I did ask about the 100% vegetarian. As i was told was that all their utensil are seperate for vegi and non vegi. They also have a Jain pizza. So this way everyone is happy. I reccomend it to everyone try it.
I am just coming back from Indian Tasty Pizza and had the Saagar pizza and it was awesome. It is a must try. We also had Veer Zara but did not like it as much as Saagar. A very good alternative to Pizza and Curry.

Ordered Saagar Pizza, Pukar, and Dilwale pizza. Saagar was good. But, Dilwale was supposed to have paneer topping. However, there was something that my wife saw and felt that was not right about thi topping. I had not eaten this pizza. Asked the Indian/Punjabi guy who took our order about this topping. He said that he did not know and would find out. Even after 5 min. he did not come out. I asked him “how can you not know what was put on the pizza?”, he said that he would look into it. Also, this same guy came out and took away the 3 slices of remaining Pukar pizza. Upon asking, he said that he wanted to check as to what was in there. He never brought the slices back. The co-owner charged us half of the bill and said that the topping on the Dilwale pizza was “marinated paneer”. But, my wife is not convinced. All of us are vegetarians. We suspected that this guy must have put some kind of meat or seafood on the pizza but did not want to acknowledge it. Just be careful. These pizzas look different and unless you are sure that the toppings are what you expect, do not venture to eat it. What a bizarre experience after so many years of eating pizzas in normal restaurants.
