Was considering taking Wii to India this time. Just wanted to get reviews before I make my decision.
Alsowould like to know which are famous add ons (games/accessories) to invest in?
What is a good price for Wii console? $250 is what I am commonly found on the internet
Haven’t seen any deals for Wii. Good part is it is easily available now and don’t need to wait 🙂 We brought it thru Amazon (save tax 🙂 ). Costco sells some combo packs(games etc) along with the console which, so you may want to check that out.

U will find deals where the console is offered with a few games.
Fry’s has this going on for the last few weeks (guess they are
trying to get rid of their old games). Walmart also offers a few combo packs online (not in store). Shop around for the console but get accessories/additional remotes from Amazon.
Has anybody tried Wii fit ?
Wii fit is excellent, it has enough games for the kids (like balance beam etc) and some stuff to keep you entertained. Its not real real fitness but the yoga section is surprisingly good. Would’ve been nice if they had guided pranayam.
Make sure to get two controllers and also two nanchuks (used for the boxing game). Wii Sports that comes with the console is a great way to start.
We have Wii-Fit and Prerna/Arya love it. It is a good exercise material with personal trainerr
Invest in physical skill games as opposed to mental puzzle type games :). Guitar hero is great.
