Folks who are going for camping on 24th May have been talking about cherry picking near Del Valle, Livermore. But as far as I know we haven’t decided a place. There are farms in Brentwood which is an hour away from here.. And from Brentwood Del Valle is another hour. Couple of years back we had gone to Bacchini’s Fruit Tree with other KV families. Which other place are we looking at?

Whichever place you go, be aware of the fact that some ranch dont allow you in after 1pm or so, once the farm is full of people. So plan accordingly.
Would there be a need to call up the farms to check the availability of cherries?
Couple of previous articles (mentioned below) have links to the farms –

Tidrick ranch was closed as of last year. Not sure whether it will open this year.
The other KV member suggested Seko Ranch and Pomeroy farms in Brentwood. They have dwarf trees. But it is farther away from Bacchini’s Farm.
I checked on the net, cherries are still not ready. It says they will be ready by late May. But will definitely call up before we go. And the farms can have a mile long lines to get in. So we better go there early.
Hi there! We’re relatively new to this forum, so pardon this naive question, but how do we join in? Who do we contact? Where do we rendezvous?
Bhavesh, I will ask Parul to get in touch with you.
