FREE: Kid-friendly event at Marine Science Institute (sat 4/18)

Marine Science Institute in Redwood City has its once-a-year public open house on Saturday 4/18 (8am – 5pm). This all-day event is filled with family-friendly programs geared towards providing fun, memorable and meaningful experiences while learning about our marine animals and our treasured San Francisco Bay. At the event, there is also ‘Discovery Voyage’ where you will go out on a two-hour boat ride aboard a 90 foot research vessel (kids must be 5 years or older to board).
