We need references for a good pediatrician under Palo Alto/Stanford/ El Camino Medical group.
Please help us find a good doctor for our newborn.

How about one in Bombay? While in Bombay did you happen to vist any Ped, you would like to recommend?
The thought of having ur ped seems not very common in India, I guess. Kids usually go to family doctors (who’re like our PCPs) for almost everything unless there’s something really serious.
(My mom can’t settle with the pattern here of taking appts from a ‘ped’ everytime for kids, may it be common cold, regular checkups, shots etc)
BTW, we had a ped who was a kind nextdoor neighbor at my mom’s place for all advices.
My sister takes her kids to a ped Dr Sanjay Pathak (not 100% sure about first name)in Ghatkopar.
When Bhumi was 4 months old she got her regular dose of shots from our family doctor. Our Ped in DC had written what shots were needed and apparently doctors in India follow the same schedule so everything was available.
Now in Mulund we visit a Ped (Jayesh Kapadia) whose office is in our building but only for serious (something which has lasted a few days and normal/home remedies have not worked) issues.
Dr. K.V.Chaudhari is the PED in mumbai – Jash had his 4 month shots from him. Has multiple locations/timings – Dadar & Wadala. Does US style checkups – weight, height, head circumference, physical exam for kids etc. And gives good tips/suggestions. Would recommend him for the neighborhood folks 🙂
