Speaking of Christmas in the Park, maybe a few of us can coordinate to be there at the same time and hang out together.
Either this Sat (13 Dec) or Next Sat (20 Dec).
I believe this Sat a few KVites are going to Oakland Zoo Lights.
we plan to take Mithil at Christmas in the park, either on 13th dec or 30th dec
Wont Sat. be crowded. One of the times we went on Sat. and had trouble find parking, park was pretty crowded too.
that is true. sat is often crowded. unless we go a bit early around 5.30 or so.
how about going on sun 14th dec
There are also good lights at Nicolet Ave. in Fremont.
Nutcracker seems to be another event during the holiday season. Has anyone been to any nutcracker performance before?
This weekend is going to be very cold with showers expected.
Christmas in the park on 20th should be fine with us we were thinking of taking jenica there .
Even lights in mission fremont are good its a drive through just like grant in mountainview.
Caltrain has a holiday train that runs only for one weekend.
And Cable Car in SFO has holiday lights tour.
1. Santa Clara Central Park now has an outdoor holiday ice rink – http://santaclaraonice.com/
2. The Vasona Park Fantasy of Lights has a walk thru tour for one weekend – we went there last year and had a good time.
For Vasona PArk- Last year V had decided last minute to go – online tickets were not available , had to park the car in the parking lot which they had given option and then took shuttle . after reaching there it took us 1 and half hour to get the tickets . It was cold so if you are planning to go I would suggest that you buy your tickets online and then go.
