Just wondering which are the movies that you would rate as 10 ??? I have seen people giving couple of 9’s like recently Sandip rated Rock On as 9. I guess for me movies like Johnny Gaddar, Bheja Fry, Khosla ka Gosla were complete entertainment and that’s what i would look in a movie to Rate it as 10.
What does everyone else think about it and which movies would you rate 10.
I was thinking about exactly the same thing. :-). Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai was 10. Both Munnabhais. Lord of the Rings was 10 too. So was Minority Report, Back to the Future.
Basically 10 is a movie that you can watch again and again without getting bored.
‘Andaaz apna apna’ would be a 10 for me.
Hera Pheri Part I would be 10 for me
I think there was an article on “Evergreen movies” where people did mention all the movies that they can watch again and again. I won’t find the link for you from the archives may be Prashant can 🙂
But a new movie has added to my list recently, “Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya” starring Salman, Sushmita, Katrina. Songs are great and I liked Sushmita’s acting in this movie very much.
Old comdies like “Angur”, “GolMaal” would be 10

Once Sneha watched Hera Pheri then she took a vow that no other movie would come close to it. Hence from that day onwards, Sneha could not find any movie as good as Hera Pheri. 🙂
My favourites that I would rate 10 are:
1. Sholay
2. Naya Daur
3. ShawShank Redemption
4. Angur
5. Hungama
6. Hera Pheri
7. Trishul
8. Dewaar
Well, it’s about rating the movie 10 and not just about watching them over and over again
Desi:
– Sholay, Sharabi, Trishul
– 50% of Aamir movies (AAA, Lagaan, DCH, DHKMN, Rangeela, etc)
– Omkara, Satya,
– Jaane bhi do yaaron, etc
Videsi:
– LA confidential (complete movie experience)
– The departed (excellent acting and dialogues)
– Terminator II (the best action movie)
– Minority Report (the best Sci Fi thriller of our times and a very moving experience)

I wish someone would list one or 2 movies here that I haven’t seen so next time i rent a movie i can be sure i am not wasting my time and money :). I will check this post couple of days later to check again 🙂

Adding some movies that the kids surely like. These are evergreen movies that I can watch again and again with kids and would also make a “10” using that criteria:
– Star Wars
– Jungle Book
– Who Framed Roger Rabbit
– Jurassic Park (I)
