Waterfalls in California

After that nice dip in the Pfeiffer falls I set out to discover more waterfalls closeby to the Bay Area. I love if the waterfall is accessible enough to stand below it or at least to stand in the mist surrounding it.

I found this website.

How about you? Have you visited waterfalls that you liked?

I really liked Yosemite’s waterfalls. One can really go very close to a few of them.

  1. Uvas Canyon Park in Santa Clara County seems to have 5 waterfalls. We definitely must plan a KV hike to this park. 🙂

  2. From the listed waterfalls, how many have you visted? I think count for most of us is 5 (3 of Yosemite Falls, 2 in Big Sur)

  3. How about the weekend of Sept 6/7 for the hike

  4. The Uvas Canyon Park Hike will need to be done during rainy season for the waterfalls.

However we can undertake a different hike whenever you are around Samir. Maybe Castle Rock State Park in September.
