Problems and Opportunities

Anything that manifests itself into a full blown problem is usually preceded by some small indicators which signal the oncoming problem. The key is to recognize those indicators and act on them quickly.

You can substitute the word problem with opportunity above and the statement still holds true.

Many of us do “recognize” the indicators but fail in the part of “acting” on them. 🙂

  1. I liked this……

This shows you the difference between concentrating on problems and concentrating on solutions.

When NASA began the launch of astronauts into space, they found out that the pens wouldn’t work at zero gravity. (Ink won’t flow down to the writing surface) In order to solve this problem, they hired Andersen Consulting (Accenture today).

It took them one decade and 12 million dollars.

They developed a pen that worked at zero gravity, upside down, under water, in practically any surface including crystal and in a temperature range from below freezing to over 300 degrees Celsius.

    The Russians used a pencil.

  2. Just as Tatas new car has an oppurtunity-anyone and everyone can own a car in India
PROBLEM-with everyone driving there will be no place to walk on the streets, already choking pollution could kill you, and parking impossible on crowded streets

  3. Also to add to Amit’s comment, finance has become so easy now a days. Getting a car loan or infact any kind of loan has eased up.
Traffic in bombay is gonna be a nightmare.
