Bhandardara near Igatpuri is an upcoming tourist location.
MTDC resort have best location there. We had almost booked this place but had to cancel last minute due to bad health.

Golden Swan country club in Thane near Yeoor Hills is a nice place. I think entrance is to members only, but members can bring guests. We visited this place last year and has lot of activities for both adults and kids.

Last time we had gone to “Silent Resort”. I forgot the location. Jaisa nam vaisa hee tha. It was clean. We had gone with group of 50+ people. We had really good time. They have swimming pool with some rides and music, tube ride, for kids they had train ride, cricket play area. They also have lake. Good food with breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner.
Every time we go to India, we visit Golden Swan club as my sister’s guests although it has always been 2-3 hrs max each time in the evening. Occassionally, they will also have an event at night like gazal nights, games night etc. It’s nice place very close to city.
As Bhavini said, entry is only for members + guests.
Corinthian Club Resort is very nice place near pune . Worth going & staying there .I personnaly had really liked this place…more info you will get from this website.

Dont remember the name but there are some resorts in Talegaon which are good
There is one good one near Haji Ali – adjacent to Cadbury house (don’t remember the name), but only for members + guests.
Ended up going to Tikuji ni wadi. (Website: http://www.tikuji-ni-wadi.com). They have amusement park + water park. Water park was pretty comparable to Great Amercia Park. Rides for small kids were also good.
Will write a separate post on Tikuji ni wadi.
Other resorts considered were Suraj Water Park and Shangrila Water Park. We will save them for the next trip. 🙂
