Our special correspondent traveled all the way to Mumbai to give you an up, close and personal look at your favorite city. 🙂
Its rainy days here in Mumbai. Most days are cloudy. After a very long time it felt nice to walk on Mumbai streets with an umbrella on my head and rain falling everywhere. The negative part about rain however is that potholes have surfaced everywhere. Even on concrete roads.
I feel that rickshawalas have are ruder as compared to 10-15 years back. All those influx from Bihar is probably diluting the genre of the rickshawala. Being a pedestrian as usual means playing a video game with you being the worm trying to dodge every vehicle.
Some of the items in news lately here are :
a) A model turned beggar roaming the streets of Delhi.
b) The Dahi Handi festival with 7 layers of people. Lots of dahi handis on roads here today.
c) Talk of shifting Indian Standard Time by 30 mins (permanently).
Stay tuned as I try to dig up some more changes that Mumbai has undergone in the past few months.
