We have all heard of the term “deja vu” at one time or another. I have several recollections of feeling like I was reliving a certain set of events from days gone by, but of late that feeling seems to have almost become non-existent. I don’t seem to recollect any such event of late. So 2 questions to delve over:
1. Have you had “deja vu” experiences?
2. Has the frequency become less as we have grown up?

and I thought I was the only one feeling that sometimes I have lived some moments before.
I can relate to this one. Suddenly sometimes I would feel that the situation that is occurring currently seems familiar in my memory.
You are right that it is happening less now as compared to when I was in my twenties. Maybe the mind is now more focused on other things like kids, household tasks, job, etc as compared to earlier.
Has anyone had ‘Deja Fu’ experience? –
It is the feeling that somehow, somewhere, you’ve been kicked in the head like this before.
Kya timing hai !! Time magazine must have read this article by Jaideep. 🙂 How else would you explain their article in the latest Time magazine titled “Explaining Deja-Vu” and which goes on to offer theories on why we feel like that sometimes.
Read this article for better explanation.
“Jamais Vu” is the new word that I learnt thanks to the article. It means opposite of Deja Vu i.e., never been in this situation before.
Based on Comments above, 3 people in KV suffered from Deja-Vu. All rest of 120 people suffer from Jamais Vu. 🙂
