Must See TV

Now that Survivor-Fiji (14th season) is over and it will be a few months before Survivor – China gets underway, I have no “Must See TV” program to watch.

Thursday was the only day I used to look forward to recently. And when Apprentice-L.A. was on it was Sunday also.

Any Serial following on TV has gone down on my part considerably. I have been a loyal follower of Survivor from the first season (2000?) and have followed all 14 seasons religiously. Each time we anticipate someone is going to be voted off (either on Survivor or Apprentice) we tell Kairavi “Say Bye Bye <Person’s name here> 🙂 and Kairavi does the needful dutifully.

Anyway, what does your Must See TV list look like? (Once a month watching does not count). You have to religiously watch that program every week and actually look forward to it.

10 Comments:

  1. My Must See TV list during just finishing fall season had:

    -Amazing Race
    -Survivor
    -Lost
    -24
    -Apprentice

We actually subscribed to DVR service so these can be recorded when I was working longer hrs during tax season.

  2. My Current Must See TV listings are

    Indian IDOL
    SA RE GA MA PA
    CID

if by any chance i miss any of the episodes i download it from net and watch it b4 the next episode is casted.

I dont even miss the repeat telecast of Indian IDOL and SA RE GA MA PA.

  3. The Daily Show,
    The Bill Maher Show

  4. After Sanjaya, we have started watching American Idol. But it will also be done pretty soon.
And after the season’s finale of “24” there won’t be anything on the list 🙁

  5. Rohit,
How come there is no Dr. Phil on the list? 🙂
    (just kidding)

  6. Jon Stewart and Bill Maher provide enough laughs that I don’t get angry anymore so no Dr. Phil.

  7. I think I may have found my next Must-See TV for next few weeks. “Sa-Re-Ga-Ma-Pa” Challenge-2007 on Zee TV. In some ways it is like Survivor since people get voted off each week. (Fri/Sat)

But here there is high drama from the 4 music directors who are grooming the singers in their gharana. It will be interesting to see how HimeshBhai provides Roti-Kapda-Ijjat to the household of Mussarat (a pakistani singer) in the coming weeks. :-).

  8. Yes Prashant that would be really interesting to see how a singer can survive by just singing one particular type of song.

Apart from that the Cold War between Himesh and Asha Bhosale is also interesting

  9. Anyone watching sitcoms –

    According to Jim
    My Wife and Kids
    King of Queens
    Two and half Men
    George Lopez

  10. We watch all the above that Bhavesh mentioned, but lately not regular on that. Also like watching Raymond when it used to come before regularly.
