Stain Remover is every mom’s one of the best friends. Spills and stains are a natural part of raising kids. Kids come back home with tough stains like Juice on new white T-shirt, greasy foods, grass, tomato sauce, chocolate and a wide variety of others. These are sometimes hard to remove just with detergent.
Which stain remover is your favorite pal? I am still searching for mine.

So far I have tried partially working solution – Oxyclean stain remover which needs to be mixed with detergent during wash. And Resolve spray stain remover. I feel Resolve spray works better then OxyClean but needs more effort. With Resolve spray, based on stain, have to go through multiple cycle of spray, let is stand for a while, rub, wash.
Stains that might be still there after all those washes n drying,
will fade away or even disappear if kept in sunlight, a natural bleach agent
A Home remedy is using tomato for certain stains like turmeric, the pH in tomato is such that it causes to fade the stain. However, please try @ ur own risk :). I have done this in the past and it works!

Surprisingly just 2 replies till now to this post. The KV folks probably dont want to share their secret method for stains or just wear their clothes as they are 🙂
Is the Mantra for 2007 “Contribute in addition to Consume” already forgotten?
I have been using Resolve spray for carpet stains and just regular detergent for any other stains on clothes. I guess it does fade away after several wash.
For carpet stains keep SPOT SHOT at home. SHOUT for clothes. Although have never faced a situation where there are stains that do not go with normal washing. Nail polish remover if accidentally you spill nail polish on clothes 🙂
hmmm.. 😕 May be we need new washer then….
Can somebody please help me with “poopy” stains. Puhleese!!
Many washes + sun light will help with the “poopy” stains too
BTW – Hand washing is most of the times more effective than machine wash for stains. So you may want to try that for the “poopy” stains 🙂
For “poopy” stains, put clothes in little hot water and detergent for few hours then hand wash.
