Often in TV Serials you will hear police talking on their walkie-talkie and saying “ten-four”. Do you Know what “ten-four” means?

   Nilesh is right. Its an acknowledgement.

   The complete list of police codes can be found either aturbandictionary or at Wikipedia

   However many states are now using plain English instead of these ten codes as they are referred to.
