My claim to fame is that I am going to be watching the Ind-SriLanka game live at Trnidad on Mar 23. Since I am in FL it was working out well and is a short flight from here.
My other claim to fame is that I know cricketers Ajay Jadeja and Ashish Kapoor. My closest friend’s elder brother used to play at Ranji level and that is how i got in touch with these 2. Ajay is in fact in West Indies right now and he arranged this ticket for me and my colleague.
I have worked with Ajay previously during a charity event in India.
Needless to say i am excited about the trip to Trinidad.
Apurva That is COOOL. You may be the first kutchi here that is actually connected to a celebrity in some manner. Actually this may be good material for a new post. “Do you know any celebrity?”. 🙂
Leena (my sister) knew actor Sadashiv Amrapurkar’s daughter since they both were in same class in school and i believe Leena visited their home too. Nivedita Joshi (Marathi actress) stayed above them.

In College times, friends somehow got hold of my villagename and added it to my name. So I am sometimes called as Faradri Dedhia or Apurva Faradri among collegetime friends. 🙂
