Komal pointed this out to me and I was totally unaware of this.
Beginning in 2007, Daylight Saving Time is extended one month and begins for most of the United States at:
2 a.m. on the Second Sunday in March
to
2 a.m. on the First Sunday of November.
Usually this change used to happen in first week of April and Last Week of Oct. So now in 2007 we will have an extended daylight savings time. 🙂
There was some talk about moving behind and front the time by 2 hours instead of one. This way less electricity will be used. But this does not seem like happening unless electricity becomes a problem.
