A fitter Kutchvalley this year?

Are we going to have a fitter kutchvalley at the end of this year? Looking at the event list and the kind of events that we had and will have, it seems so. 🙂 And a fitter kutchvalley means a happier kutchvalley.

The Girls already went hiking and are all charged up to repeat that event. Jaideep is planning something similar for the boys. Bhavini is planning the Masala Bhangra which could become a monthly event depending on its popularity. Resha wants the kids to be fitter too by having a monthly play-date in parks. Prashant wants to conquer the Mission Peak (The April 2nd trip was abandoned due to rain). In some weeks, Dimple could be racking up another poll for other Girls activities. And maybe someone else somewhere is scheming yet another activity for us all.

Then we have the spring picnic which will have some volleyball and other games thrown in. We could end up going to Big Sur for Camping and that means some beach time for everyone and more hiking. Of course, we could always go again to the Santa Cruz beach for a beach party.

Running behind kids at picnics is an exercise by itself. Navratri is a big workout among the dancers in kutchvalley. Nothing burns away those fats as an intense hour of garba.

Maybe that should be the theme or motto of KV this year ;-).

Hope that many people get onto the boat. Its a good oppurtunity for social networking as well. Not that we are short of it. 🙂

I myself am bad at motivating myself for exercise. But if exercise can come in the form of the above mentioned fun there is no excuse for skipping it any more. After all these are the years when all of this is possible. (Hey, we are still young 🙂 , remember?). So better make use of the oppurtunities and lets get a bit fitter while having some fun at the same time.
